How we work

Here's exactly what you're hiring when you bring us in.

No mystery onboarding deck. No "we'll figure it out together as we go."

Every engagement runs on the same three-part rhythm: the 30-Day Plug-In, the weekly Operator Cadence, and a 90-Day Rebuild. The work itself changes from one client to the next. The rhythm doesn't.

The problem with how agencies usually work

You've probably hired an agency before. You probably remember how it went.

Most marketing engagements break in the same predictable places. Once you've seen the pattern, you can never unsee it.

×

“They spent the first six weeks on 'discovery' and a brand workshop nobody on our team needed. Two months in, no campaigns were live.”

×

“We had a monthly call where the account manager walked through a deck of impressions and reach. Nothing actually got decided. Just a check-in we had to attend.”

×

“At the QBR, they showed us 'wins' that didn't show up in our revenue. We started skipping the calls.”

×

“The work was done by 'the team' we never met. Our questions went to an account manager, who passed them to someone else, who maybe answered next week.”

The thing is, none of those are accidents. They're how most agency engagements are designed to operate. We designed ours differently from the ground up.

Part 01

The 30-Day Plug-In.

The first month or so of working together. We get into your accounts, dig into your business and your customers, and audit what's there. The plan comes out of that. By the end of the month the first campaigns are built, tracked, and going live.

Replaces a six-week "discovery and brand workshop" that produces a deck
The opening weeks How it starts
Week 1Kickoff with you. We get access to your accounts, analytics, and data. We meet your team and learn your sales motion.
Week 2We learn the funnel, the customers, and what's been tried before. We pull the numbers on what's been working and what hasn't.
Week 3The plan takes shape. Creative gets built, tracking gets set up properly, and we walk you through the roadmap.
Week 4Campaigns go live once they're ready. Built properly, measured properly. No artificial launch deadlines.
Part 02

The Operator Cadence.

The weekly rhythm once we're running. You work directly with the people doing the work, not an account manager passing notes. Tuesday is the working session. Friday is the written update. The dashboard stays open the rest of the time.

Replaces a monthly retainer call where the account manager reads slides of impressions
The weekly rhythm Every week
TuesdayA 60-minute working session. We make decisions, not status updates. Creative gets approved, budgets get shifted, tests get called.
FridayA short written update. What shipped, what's next, what we found. Honest about what's working and what isn't.
DailyWe're reachable in your team chat. Real answers, not a ticket queue.
AnytimeA live dashboard, open whenever you want to look. Numbers don't wait for a monthly report.

Forty-five minutes. You leave with a plan either way.

Part 03

The 90-Day Rebuild.

Every quarter we stop and take an honest look back. We read every test the quarter ran. Whatever worked gets more behind it. Whatever didn't gets cut. Then the plan resets for the next ninety days.

Replaces a QBR where last quarter's "wins" get recycled into next quarter's slides
The quarterly rebuild Every quarter
AuditAn honest read on every test the quarter ran. No spin.
CutWhatever didn't earn its place in the plan. Even if it was our idea.
DoubleMore budget and attention on what worked.
ResetA fresh plan for the next ninety days, walked through with you.

The difference

Same operators, every week.

Not a rotating cast. The people who plan it are the people who run it.

Side by side

How most agencies run engagements vs. how we do.

The format matters as much as the work. Here's the rhythm you're trading.

Typical agency rhythm

How most agencies operate.

  • ×4 to 6 weeks of "discovery" before anything ships
  • ×Monthly check-in calls with an account manager
  • ×Quarterly business reviews with vanity slides
  • ×The "team running your campaigns" who you've never met
  • ×Wins reported in impressions, reach, "engagement"
  • ×A 60-page strategy doc that lives in a Google Drive folder
Our rhythm

How we operate.

  • +30 days to plug in, then live campaigns
  • +Weekly Tuesday working sessions where decisions get made
  • +90-Day Rebuilds where we cut what's not working
  • +The people in the session are the people in your ad accounts
  • +Wins reported in revenue, signups, booked jobs, AOV
  • +A live dashboard you can open any day, not a deck nobody reads
Free Google Ads month

Not sure we can sell what you sell? We'll prove it first.

We build and run your Google Ads free for a full month, no management fee, before you sign a retainer. You fund the ad budget that goes to Google. We don't charge for the work. If we can't move your numbers, you've lost a month watching us try and nothing else.

It's a separate offer from your free analysis, and we can't run it for everyone. As a small team, we won't take it on unless we believe we can win it. That's the point of putting our own work on the line.

Common questions

Common questions about how we operate.

Yes. It's a separate offer from the free analysis, and it's how we put our own work on the line. We build and run your Google Ads free for a full month, no management fee, so you can see what we do before signing a retainer. You fund the ad budget that goes to Google; we don't charge for the work. We can't offer it to everyone, and we won't take it on unless we think we can win it. Ask us about it.
We don't change the rhythm. Tuesday working sessions, Friday updates, and 90-Day Rebuilds are the operating model. The work inside it bends to your business. The format doesn't. That's how we keep quality consistent across every client we run.
A fractional CMO advises. They don't ship work. We run the function: the ads, the email, the content, the creative, the analytics, all of it. The fractional model has its place, but it isn't ours.
Sometimes, if the lines are clear. We'll talk through where we fit and where we don't on the free 45-minute analysis, so nobody is stepping on anyone's work after you sign. Most of the time it's cleaner to consolidate.
Both. Static, video, UGC, motion, written content, landing pages. Creative is part of the work, not a separate line item. The team includes a creative producer on every engagement that needs one.
You'll know on Friday of week one if something's underperforming. The 90-Day Rebuild is the formal moment to cut, but we don't wait for a quarter to call a test that's clearly not paying back. That's the whole point of the Friday update.
The numbers that move your business. For SaaS: signups, activation, MRR, CAC. For ecommerce: orders, AOV, ROAS, repeat rate. For local: calls, form fills, booked jobs, revenue. The dashboard is open to your team every day of the engagement.
You get the rebuild walk-through. What worked, what didn't, what changes for next quarter, and a fresh plan. Then the cadence keeps running. Most clients renew without thinking about it because the work compounds.
We don't lock you into a long contract. Month to month after the first 90 days. The decision is renewed every month. The work compounds over quarters, so most clients stay longer than that, but the door is always open.
